I install, manage, support gatekeepers at the cluster I co-manage and solve all kinds of grid related problems that somehow involve our site.

2. Why did you get in to grid?
I was involved in Atlas and STAR computing and those collaborations embraced grid from the very beginning and so did I. I was fascinated by a possibility of efficient management of distributed and diverse computing resources and environments. We could be big and useful without being all the same, all in one place.

When that pager goes off at 2am.....

7. What do you do when you’re not at work?
I love gardening (I am trying to document it, but gardening is more fun so documenting suffers.... ) and weaving when the weather is bad. I enjoy swimming (free style for a fee spirit) and skiing.

To have 365 interesting days........

I did......
