1. What's your role within grid computing?
  Provision of user support, application support, dissemination & training.
 
2. Why did you get in to grid?
  To serve the user communities and in this way to pay the debt from time when I was an end user of the distributed computing infrastructure.
 
3. What did you study at university?
Physical chemistry.
 
4. What did you want to be at school?
First of all, I never wanted to be an astronaut. I always wanted to be a ...fisherman! I finally became a computer scientist... some times life is so hard...
 
5. What are the highlights of your job?
Obtaining a lot of life experience through meeting with a lot of intelligent persons.
 
6. What are the lowlights of your job?
Unsatisfactory long period among user requests and implementation of corresponding solutions into the production grid environment.
 
7. What do you do when you’re not at work?
Walking my rhodesian ridgeback female dog, playing Titan Quest Immortal Throne.
 
8. What are your goals for the next year?
Survive.
 
9. Would you encourage your children to get in to grid and IT?
Definitely yes, this will allow them to obtain access to high-level tools and approach more extensive life horizons.
 
10. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Decent human being.
