1. What's your role within grid computing?
 

I’m a researcher particularly in the field of trust and security within grid collaborations.
 
2. Why did you get in to grid?
  I got a bursary to study with a university whose computer science department was focusing on grid as a research area.
 
3. What did you study at university?
  Computer Science
 
4. What did you want to be at school?
  At one point a teacher, then a doctor then I thought aggh why not a lawyer, oh what about a chartered accountant!
 
5. What are the highlights of your job?
 

I love it when I learn or discover something new!
 
6. What are the lowlights of your job?
 

When I read and read and still don’t get it!
 
7. What do you do when you're not at work?
  Any sporting activity, watch movies.
 
8. What are your goals for the next year?
  Driver’s license, start a business, certification.
 
9. Would you encourage your children to get in to grid and IT?
 

I’d encourage them to be computer literate the rest I guess is up to them.
 
10. What do you want to be when you grow up?
  The “hottest” granny to walk the earth with an ability to do a mean impersonation of Micheal Jackson’s classic dances…especially the “moon walk” …awww who’s bad!
