The climateprediction.net experiment
aims to investigate the approximations made in state-of-the-art climate
models. The model response to slight tweaks in these approximations
is studied by running the model on thousands of home/school/work computers.

| SYNOPSIS |
Compute Against Cancer
is a collaborative effort among researchers at academic and private
laboratories, government agencies, nonprofit cancer organizations
and the general public. The project supplies researchers with access
to amassive computing platform to help reduce the effects of chemotheraphy,
study the structure and behaviour of cancer cells and create better
ways to screen newcancer drugs. |
